Why Finlore
Genuine value is built on clarity, not claims
There are plenty of financial education options available in Singapore. What distinguishes our approach is harder to quantify than a certificate — but easier to notice after a single session.

What you can expect from working with us
Deep local expertise
Our team's knowledge is grounded in Singapore's actual financial landscape — CPF mechanics, MAS frameworks, local tax obligations, and the specific instruments available here.
No product agenda
We do not sell financial products or receive referral fees. Our only incentive is that you leave more informed. This independence is, we think, our most important quality.
Experienced educators
Our team combines professional finance backgrounds with deliberate teaching practice. Understanding something yourself is different from being able to explain it — we work on both.
Programmes built for your situation
We designed three focused programmes for specific circumstances rather than a broad curriculum that tries to cover everything. The specificity makes the content more useful.
Empathetic, unhurried approach
Financial conversations can be stressful. We understand that, and we're not in a hurry. Sessions move at a pace that allows for proper understanding, not just information delivery.
Tangible materials included
Each programme includes practical reference materials — checklists, glossaries, frameworks — designed to be useful after the sessions conclude, not just during them.
In Depth
What each benefit actually means
Professional Expertise
The people running Finlore's programmes have worked inside financial institutions, studied adult learning methodology, and — perhaps most importantly — made the transition themselves of explaining complex material to people who had never encountered it before. That last part is surprisingly uncommon in financial education, where subject knowledge often substitutes for teaching ability.
Our team's backgrounds span retail banking, derivatives, insurance distribution, and financial planning across Singapore and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
Process & Methodology
Each programme is delivered in a consistent structure that has been refined through iteration: an initial orientation to the topic, worked examples from Singapore-specific scenarios, open discussion of questions and edge cases, and reference materials to take away. The Life Transition Advisory adds a tailored assessment stage at the beginning and a written action plan at the end.
We use digital session summaries and shared documents for follow-up, so participants can revisit material without needing to rely solely on memory.
Client Service Quality
We respond to enquiries within one business day and aim for a preliminary conversation before any programme begins. If we think a different resource or provider would suit someone better, we say so. We'd rather lose a booking than put someone through a programme that wasn't right for them — which, incidentally, is how we've maintained a strong referral rate since we opened.
Value & Transparency
Our fees are published on the website alongside programme descriptions. They are all-inclusive — there are no add-on charges, upsells, or required follow-on modules. What you see on the Solutions page is what the programme costs. We believe pricing should be straightforward when the goal is to help people make better financial decisions.
Outcomes & Continuity
By the end of each programme, participants report feeling significantly more confident navigating their specific financial context — whether that's understanding their CPF contributions as a new permanent resident, asking informed questions about a structured product they've been offered, or knowing which financial decisions to prioritise after a major life change. The Life Transition Advisory includes a three-month follow-up to check on progress and address anything that has come up in the interim.

What Sets Us Apart
Three things we do that others don't
Life transition specialisation
We are among very few providers in Singapore offering structured financial education specifically for people going through major personal transitions — divorce, bereavement, inheritance, and career change.
New resident orientation
A dedicated programme for people who have recently moved to Singapore is uncommon. Most providers assume prior local familiarity. We don't — and we designed a programme from the ground up for this cohort.
Commitment to independence
Our fees are our only revenue source. No affiliate arrangements, no product commissions, no promotional partnerships. This is a structural choice that keeps our interests aligned with yours.
