Common Questions

Things people often ask before reaching out

Who are these programmes designed for?

Our programmes are for working adults wanting to make more considered financial decisions. The new-resident programme suits employment pass holders, dependant pass holders, and newly-minted PRs. The options awareness programme is aimed at those with some existing investment familiarity. The life transition advisory is appropriate for anyone navigating a meaningful personal or professional change.

Do I need prior financial knowledge to join?

For Financial Basics for New Residents, no prior knowledge is assumed — it's designed from the ground up. The Options & Structured Products programme assumes a foundational familiarity with investing. For the Life Transition Advisory, the relevant knowledge comes from your own circumstances, which we explore together.

How are sessions conducted?

Sessions can be held in person at our Capital Tower office or via video call, depending on your preference and schedule. For the advisory programme, we tend to find in-person sessions useful for earlier, exploratory stages — though we work around whatever is most practical for you.

What is the group size?

The Financial Basics and Options programmes may run in small cohorts of up to six participants — small enough for genuine discussion. The Life Transition Advisory is always delivered one-to-one, given its personalised nature.

Are these programmes regulated by MAS?

Our programmes are educational in nature and do not constitute financial advice under the Financial Advisers Act. We do not recommend specific investment products or manage funds. If your situation calls for regulated advisory, we can help clarify what kind of licensed intermediary would be most appropriate.

What happens after I submit an enquiry?

We typically respond within one business day. The first step is a brief, informal conversation — usually 20 to 30 minutes — to understand your situation and what you're hoping to gain. We'll then suggest which programme, if any, might suit you best. There's no obligation to proceed.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations made at least five business days before a programme begins are eligible for a full refund. Later cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis — we understand that circumstances shift and try to be as flexible as the situation allows. Please write to us directly at [email protected] if you need to discuss a change.
